Who we are

This app is operated by Novateur Apps Studio (OPC) Private Limited. This policy explains what we store about you, why, and how to have it removed. Questions and requests go to gk@novateur.app.

Your account

You can use the app as a guest, in which case we create an account with no personal details attached — it identifies the installation, not you. If you sign in with Google we receive the name, email address and profile picture on that account. If you sign in by phone we receive your phone number. We do not ask for anything else and we never see your password or your Google credentials.

Guest accounts are deleted automatically, along with everything stored against them, after thirty days without use. Opening the app resets that. If you sign in with Google or a phone number the account stops being a guest account and is kept until you delete it.

What we store

Your settings: preferred language, theme, and whether you want notifications about quarterly results.

Your watchlist and any holdings you enter in the portfolio screen. Holdings are figures you type in; we have no access to any broker account, demat account or bank account, and we never ask for one.

A notification token, if you enable notifications, so that we can send them to your device.

A record of which reports you open, with the time you opened them. We use it to work out which companies are popular and to keep the most requested reports ready in advance. It is not readable by other users and it is not sold or shared.

A count of how many reports you have requested recently, to enforce usage limits.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own purposes. We do not build advertising profiles and the app carries no advertising.

We do not have access to your money or your investments. Nothing in the app can place a trade.

Who processes your data for us

Google Firebase provides the sign-in, database, file storage and notification infrastructure, and hosts the servers that generate reports. Your account data is held in Google Cloud in the region serving your market.

The report text is produced by a third-party artificial intelligence service. It receives the company's published financial figures and the name of the company. It does not receive your identity, your watchlist, your holdings, or anything else about you.

Market prices come from a licensed market data provider. Company financial figures come from the exchange's own published filings.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account removes your profile, your settings, your watchlist, your holdings, the record of which reports you opened, your usage counters, and your sign-in credential. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.

Reports themselves are not personal to you — they are the same document for everyone who asks for that company — so they are unaffected.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Deleting your account in the app does the last of these in full; for the others write to gk@novateur.app.

Grievances about how your data is handled can be addressed to our grievance officer:

Children

The app is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, write to gk@novateur.app and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update it here and change the date at the top. Material changes will be notified in the app.
